The orange marker is located over the fair grounds. Statesville is to the right on the map and Asheville is to the left. There will be signs out on Saturday at all of the main intersections.

From	Directions
Statesville / Hickory	Traveling westbound on I-40, take Exit 105 (Morganton / Shelby Exit). Turn right onto Hwy 18. Travel straight at all intersections This will take you all of the way through town. In the middle of town, you will end up on Hwy 181 (see note below). Follow Hwy. 181 until you see Hardee's, Eckerd's, Bojangles' and Wendy's. You will make the next right after passing Wendy's and Kmart parking lot. You can't miss it from there. NOTE: In the middle of downtown Morganton Hwy 18 will turn right at CVS Pharmacy. DO NOT make the right turn. Continue straight. At this point you will be on Hwy 181.
Asheville / Marion	Traveling eastbound on I-40, take Exit I-40 at Exit 100 (Jamestown Road). Turn left on Jamestown Road. You will stay on this road, passing KFC and Freedom High School. At the intersection with the Hardee's, Eckerd's and Bojangles make a left. At the next light take a right (at AJ's Steakhouse, Wendy's and Kmart). You can't miss it from there.
Lenoir / Wilkesboro	You will come into Morganton on Hwy 18/64. At the first stop light after entering Morganton you will take a right. Kirksey Funeral Home will be on the opposite left side of the intersection and N. Morganton United Methodist Church will be on the opposite right side of the intersection at the light. You will go to the next stop light and make a right onto Hwy. 181 (you will cross the Catawba River here). Go until you see Wendy's and Kmart on your right (about a half mile). Turn right at the next light. You can't miss it from there.
Rutherfordton on Hwy. 64	You will come into town, passing Wal-Mart, crossing I-40, and passing Western Piedmont Community College. You will take a left at the North Carolina School for the Deaf. There will be a football field on your right at the light before the turn. You then will proceed to the second traffic light and make a left (the US Post Office will be on your right at this light). Go until you see Wendy's and Kmart on your right. Turn right at the next light. You can't miss it from there.
Intersection of I-85 and I-26 in South Carolina (from Atlanta) 1 hour and 20 minutes from here to the Hamfest Site	Take I-26 West across the North Carolina line. Exit I-26 at the first exit in North Carolina (not counting the rest area). At the top off the off ramp go straight, just like you are getting back on the interstate. Once on the onramp, bear right. This will be the onramp for Hwy-74. Go approximately 1 mile on Hwy-74. Exit Hwy-74 and turn left onto Hwy-108. Take Hwy-108 to Rutherfordton (about 18 miles). When entering Rutherfordton you will come to a stop sign at the hospital. Take a right and then an immediate left at the stop light. Go to the bottom of the hill to a stop sign. Turn right then take the next left at the light. This will put you on Hwy-221. Go straight approximately 20 miles. You will come to I-40. Go East on I-40 to Exit 100.
